My mother is a very, very picky eater. The entire staff at Silver Creek Leisure Living does everything that they can to get her the food that she will eat. I know that they even cut up her food for her to make it easier for her. Besides my mother's problem with food, she is a very independent person. So, naturally, it has been a big adjustment for her to go along with the schedules. We decided to put my father into an assisted living community this past year. So far, he has been very happy there, he is kind of private but he has also participated in some of the activities like bingo, so he gets the best of both worlds.
